Microsoft have let it be known that Halo 2, one of the most anticipated games of the year is now Gold.

The game, which picks up where the first game ended, will expand on everything that made the original a great game. Significantly improved graphics, AI, an advanced real-time lighting engine and destructible interactive environments are just a small part of what you can expect.

The dates for Release are as Follows:

North and South America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand - November 9th.
France, Belgium and Switzerland - November 10th.
Japan and the rest of Europe (more importantly, the UK) - November 11th.
