No free oldies on Revolution

Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, has denied that the companys back catalogue will be available for free on the Revolution. Instead, he mentioned that some old games may be used as bonus or trial content.

GamesIndustry.biz reports that Iwata said that "we have no plans to distribute [our back catalogue] without a fee." expanding on this further, Iwata said that "we hope to create a system which allows both Nintendo and [third-party publishers] to make a profit by using [software titles] from the past".

Further to this he also confirmed that Revolution users would be able to download demos to the console for their portable DS system and then transfer them wirelessly to their handhelds.
