A press release on the Japanese Capcom website officially announces that Resident Evil 5 will be coming to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Electronic Gaming monthly originally reported that game was in development by way of an interview with Capcom producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi, however this is the first official statement from Capcom about its development for these platforms.
