Cheats:

All characters:
- Successfully complete novice and adept modes in tournament and save the game to a memory card. Get a different memory card with no file from the game. Complete story mode and go to Mr. Popo's shop. Put the memory cards in slots one and two. Trade the Dragon Ball from the new saved file on memory card two to Memory Card one. Remove both memory cards. Put the memory card that was in slot two into slot one. You will now have all the characters from the saved game file on memory card one.
Any Mode
- At Options mode, press Right,Right,Up,Up,X,Triangle and repeat that 3 times. You will hear a bomb noise to confirm your entry.You will unlock:Broly, Bardock, Uub, Kid Goku and SSJ4 Gogeta as bonus characters.
Easy capsules:
- Enter Bulma's Shop. Do not buy anything. Leave and press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2. Do this a few times until your percentage begins to increase. Note: You must have auto-save enabled.
To get a capsule without paying, go to the skill shop, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 and press Triangle to exit. You will get a capsule each time you exit.
Easy damage.
- Go play any game mode and be any characters.
Wait until computer or player 2 fire at you a kamehameha,buster canon...Then you dodge the beam on left or right and fire a kamehameha or that other beams.It will always hit the computer player, or if he/she is to far of you he/she can dodge the beam either!
Easy transformation:
- Instead of having to press the P + K + G, press R1 + R2 to transform. This works with all characters who transform in any way. This can be very useful if you want to knock the guard off your opponent while standing next to them.
Free Capsule Increase
- With a memory card inserted (to save progress), enter an item shop. Hold L1 + L2 and leave. Repeat the process for more stuff.

- Nappa: Beat him with Vegeta in Dragon World
Raditz: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Recoome: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Captain Ginyu: Beat him with Vegeta in Dragon World
Frieza: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Android 20:Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Android 18: Beat her with Krillin in Dragon World
Android 17: Beat him with Piccolo in Dragon Waorld
Android 16: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Cell: Beat him with Goku in Dragon World
Great Saiyaman: Beat Cell with Gohan in Dragon World
Hercule: Beat Majin Buu (fat) with Great Saiyaman
Videl: Beat Super Buu (with Gohan absorbed) with Hercule
Future Trunks: Beat Vegeta on Namek with Kid Trunks
All the Buus: Get all of the dragonballs in dragon world and wish for Babidi's spaceship. Then do any of the stages in Babidi's ship to gain kili. If you have enough kili you can unlock the Buus automatically (a capsule would show up when the kili is being collected at the end of each stage).
Kill Buu when your Gotenks
- Right when you start off the fight go to normal super saiyan(if you cant pull off the Super Ghost Kamikaze attack just go straight to Super Saiyan 3)
When you turn Super Saiyan 3 Keep on pressing

Strange plant thingy
- On the last level on planet of the kai's where you face kid buu for the last time where goku starts click x on goku and then press square when you have done that every time its your turn goku will have 2 goes of moving.
Unlock Everything
- Enter the Skill Shop while holding down the L2 button. Bulma will talk, but just leave, while holding the L2 button still. Re-enter the shop, repeat the trick over and over and your percent of your Capsules keeps increasing. This also unlocks characters for you, Breakthrough capsules, fusions, everything.
Unlock Tiencha, Gocruel, and KibitoShin
- Collect the dragonballs and earn the breakthroughs for Goku, Hercule/Sataan, Yamcha, Tien, and The Supreme Kai/Kaio Shin. After that, gather the dragonballs again and earn their fusion capsules.
Very easy Transformation
- Go to options and go to controller confiq and hold down L1 and keep on changin the L1 controls until it gets to P+K+G and keep it there and then when your playin and you are ready to transform press L1 and it will transform auto. EASY
