Cheats:

Fishing Advice
- Early in the game, the best way to make money is to fish. Buy the rod from Van and go up the river to where you see three rocks. You can make over a 1,000 in money a day. Also, if you cast and there are no bites for a very long time, don't give up and don't recast either! Wait it out and you'll be rewarded with a Yamame or Big Yamame, which go for 500 and 1,000 respectively.
Fishing Advice 2
- When you obtain the fishing rod from Van, try fishing from the bridge in between the town. If your lucky enough, you can catch a small fish called a Sharshark that goes for 600 units of money.
Weather Control
- If you are disatisfied with your weather go to your TV and keep turning it on and off on the weather channel until it gives you the weather you want.
Banana Gold
- Buy a banana seed, plant the seed, and take care of it. Then, buy the seed harvester. The next summer, take your bananas and harvest the seeds. Plant a few of the seeds, but sell the rest to Van--they sell for 750 a seed, and a tree will yield 30+ bananas.
Chase Away Rain and Hurricanes
- When it's stormy outside and you want to stop the rain, visit a mine and do some digging. As you emerge from the mine the rain will stop.
Sleep Without Passing Time
- Select the Diary and choose to sleep. Save the game when prompted to, and then reset your GameCube. Load the save file you just made and you'll begin before you went to sleep but will be fully rested.
Get a lizard!
- Around fall or winter time a big white monster type thing will be walking around the area by the sprite's home. Be nice to it (talk to it) and give it fish (it loves to eat) and then some time before year two he'll give you a lizard!
P.S. do this before year 2.
Get Different Pets!!
- Other then regular animals, you can get some other pets and animals.
Cat: Visit Ramona every day and give her flowers and milk. Eventully she'll become your friend. During the summer in Chapter 2, wake up before your wife and Ramona will give you a cat. The cat will be black, and you can name it.
Chihuahua: The Chihuahua is at the dig site in the tent. I THINK you have to befriend the guy who digs there, and then maybe he'll give you the Chihuahua. However, I've heard that you have to feed it, so make sure you really want it.
Racoon: Befriend Vesta or Marlin (Vesta likes milk and Marlin likes crops that you grew) and eventully they'll give you a racoon.
Ducks: Simply buy the Pond in the Food Storage Room. They make eggs, just like the chickens.
Goat: Buy it from Van. With the goat you can make cheese and butter.
How do I get (FAST) Money and items?

- First you have to have 2 controllers one in slot 1 and the other in slot 3, On your first controller make sure it looks like your playing, (as in do not have your items/money showing. Now If you want easy money ant time you push start and you will get 10,000 dollars! Just dont push it too many times or it will mess up your game.And if you want a BUNCH of good rare items press Z on your third controller! it's easy as that!
People don't like you

- When peole from your town do not like you, try giving them a flower, fish, food or just try talking to them everyday and they will soon start to like you!
ERROR ERROR Glitch

- You give muffy golden wool and she will say ERROR ERROR.(this can happen anywhere,if it doesn't work plug a controller into slot 3 and hit Z and make sure another is plugged into slot 1 at the same time!

- make sure u save right before you do this or you will loose your progress.if your married to rock,use the Z cheat on the third controller slot(plug con. into slot 3 hit Z on it) keep on till you get a blue feather.when its rainingand rock is outside give him it he will say something then the game will stop and a noise will go off continuously until your turn your game cube off.
(NOTE-This glitch has not been tested on the other people,so if you try for other men,still save for progress-sake!)
marrying girls

- muffy and celia bring them a flower everyday and check there diary often. when the elves give u the blu faether make sure they hav 4 hearts.
if u propose to muffy she will marry u if she says she accepts.
celia will marry u if she tells u about her father giving her mother one.
u will marry and ur house will get bigger and u get a kid on spring 1st.
KIDS
muffy's kid- has blonde hair and loves animals. has a white hat with blue stripes. VERY cute
Celia's kid- brownish black hair, green outfit. gets scared when u show him the dog. green little hat. cute but muffy's is cuter.
Nami's kid- i believe he has reddish hair. i havent expierenced with him yet..
i am told u can get new pets but i havent expierenced it yet.
i am certain u get a cat from romona. but i never saw any1 getting a racoon or lizard.

- in the begining of the game u are offered a stray dog. when takahura is showing u the chicken coop.
the dogs hav pointy ears, or floppy ears,
there basically the same but the ears are different. they dont hav different personalities.
CATS
sometime in chapter 2 (happy birthday) if u befriend romona with milk and flowers. and she'll give u a cat
idk if i can do this because im already in chapter 2 summer... grr.
i believe she only gives u a black cat. ( i know steal the siamese onei n her manison haha)

- ok. so some people have troble erning money, well with this u will never have a problem again! so all u do is plug in a controller in the 3rd spot. then press Start. thats all!
P.S. do not do this on the pose screen. also never go over 1,000,000 dollers.

- ok when i was looking for cheats on another web i found another cheat,this.acually when you push Z on controller slot 1, u end up with all the stuff you need,all the seeds,everything!!this tactic can only be used once,ive ran out of seeds and tried it again but it didnt work. (this cheat has been used only once, It worked COMPLETLY!!)

- Ok,
So this is such an awesome glitch I found.
You can do this anywhere except for on your backpack or pause menu. Here is what you do, unplug the 1st controller and plug it into the 3rd slot. REPEAT! 3rd slot! The first time I tried this, I accidently plugged it into the 4th slot. Oops! Anyway, once you plugged it inot the 3rd slot, press the blue Z button, then unplug the controller and plug it back to the 1st slot then press start. Voila! You got yourself extreme items! You can repea this glitch as much as you like, but BEWARE! You may overload and not know how to get rid of them, because selling them takes WAY to long. Hope you enjoy!
Easy Duck eggs/ easy munny=)

- Everyone knows how you can get ducks by buying a pond and waking up after your wife in the summer of chapter 2... When you get ducks they live with your chickens(If you have any), but you can never tell which fertilized egg is your ducks... So people just hutch em and find out if it is a duck(which is annoying) You can sell ducks (full grown) for 900g; pretty good profit huh? So I suggest you get rid of all your chickens (So you can find which egg is your duck's and make it faster and easier to hatch a duck) and make profit selling your ducks. $$$$$

- If you have ruby spice(Befreind Ruby and get it from her in kitchen) Then you know that you can cook it and duplicate it ,and those duplicates can sell for 100g each... You can only hold 99 in your invetory(You sell 98) so here's a fast way to get more munny. All you do is... You put 99 in the cabinet in your shed... 99 in your fridge... and 99 in your invetory. When Van comes you can triple your cash by coming back and getting the ones you put away( you can only hold 99 at a time) THANKS!
