Occult Scrolls
- Occult Scrolls grant additional skills to characters depending on their class, but it only works on promoted units. Each scroll can only be used once.
Occult Scroll 1 - Chapter 13: in the chest at the top-left of the map.
Occult Scroll 2 - Chapter 16: talk to Stefan after recruiting him.
Occult Scroll 3 - Chapter 21: recruit Tauroneo or steal the scroll from him.
Occult Scroll 4 - Chapter 27: beat the boss.
Extras menu
- Complete the game and the Extras menu will be unlocked, containing a number of special bonus features including the Sound Room and Theatre, where you can hear music and see cinematics from the game.
Also, an Illustrations menu contains portraits of all the units in the game that you have recruited or seen. Plus, you can unlock portraits from other games in the series by connecting a Game Boy Advance with Fire Emblem or Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones using a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance cable.
Trial Maps
- After completing the game you will unlock Trial Maps which offer experienced players an extra, tougher, area to battle in. Different maps can be unlocked by meeting the following conditions.
(You will need a Game Boy Advance and a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance cable to connect GBA Fire Emblem games).
Map 1 - Complete Story Mode on any difficulty
Map 2 - Complete Story Mode on Normal difficulty
Map 3 - Complete Story Mode on Hard difficulty
Map 4 - Connect Fire Emblem GBA game
Map 5 - Connect Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones GBA game
Allied Units
- New, additional units (playable only on Trial Maps) can be unlocked by completing the main story mode the following number of times:
Oliver - 3 times.
Shiharam - 5 times.
Petrine - 7 times.
Bryce - 10 times.
Ashnard - 15 times.
